I got my start training & professionally caring for animals with AKC agility Rottweilers for a privately owned kennel in 1999.
My next adventure was working for a kennel handling, training, showing titled (IPO-Schutzhund- K9)GSD in Sieger Dog Shows for nearly 5 years.
A handful of daycare & boarding facilities after that time retained my services until Petco (Aurora) & then Petsmart (Joliet).
I moved to Chicago late 2014 & have since been doing dog training/handling for different facilities in Chicago & the neighboring areas, as well as on my own offering in-home/private dog training & pet care services.
Beyond being a Certified Dog Trainer, I am a Certified Aquatics Specialist as well.(Aquatics-Fish-Reptiles) I have from my own years as a pet owner & years at Petco & Petsmart knowledge in care & handling of most small animal types & birds.
I am continually expanding my education/knowledge in dogs (and animals) in general, dog training, education, psychology, business, communication, & animal/cognitive ethology.
I do the work I do for the absolute joy it brings me. I greatly appreciate the difference I am able to make in the lives of the dogs/animals I am in contact with & the humans’ lives who live with them.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After initial contact, We'll set up a time to meet & greet, usually at your residence. Upon meeting with you & the dog/pets, we decide what is needed & develope a training plan if it pertains to animal behavior, or we'll discuss what services are needed & figure out what best works/fits for the both of us...
