I believe that electrical work, when done well, can be an art form. I often challenge myself to bend conduit or hide wires so that my work is not just functional, but also aesthetically pleasing. I also enjoy working with customers to realize their visions for their home. In cases where I am called to troubleshoot an elusive problem such as a tripped circuit, my skills and experience help me to uncover the cause, which is also a satisfying way to help a customer.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our lead electrician, Tim Field, has a BS from the University of Michigan. He actually completed two years of medical school before having a change of heart and entering into non-profit work. Tim's first passion was to bring the sport of rowing to city kids. Initially, electrical work was a means to support that non-profit endeavor. The desire to serve others still lives on in Tim's work as an electrician.
