I have been doing pet sitting since 1993 when I actually was doing pest control and one of my customers asked if I had time everyday to come let his 3 dogs out and from there it just took off. I enjoy animals very much and been around them since I was very little. I am available all the time I do not have any other job but this. I enjoy animals very much and dogs are my favorite and I have my own puppy name prince who I just brought home a couple weeks ago. He loves being around dogs so he may be able to be your dogs best friend. I look forward to taking care of animals in geGeorgi have just moved here from Florida with my boyfriend to take care of his business and decided to continue my business up here.
I love animals of all kinds and I also have my own puppy who is going threw my training points now so it's always fun to teach him new things and also have him get something and he really is happy when we do the happy dance cause he knows that he did something amazing. My puppy prince also has medical issues so it's always a teaching point to learn even more about the way animals especially dogs are about what food they can not tolerate and he is on a very strict diet no treats so training is with toys and tricks which for most animals is not common but leaning it is even more interesting and would love to share all my knowledge of this and all I have learned about dogs and cats with diabetes. I am a type 1 so I took it amoungst myself to learn how to treat animals as well. I spend some time at shelters to help out as well to learn temperament and new ways to train animals I have the best time with those animals even not having a home they live like the world is there friend and they enjoy every minute we give to them.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I contact them discuss there plans there thoughts about what they want from me and then the charge they feel is appropriate and then set up a meet and greet so I can meet the animals and get to know them so they know who is coming to take care of them. Then we discuss there time away or if it's a job where they work alot and just want them out while they are at work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked at a shelter with a friend in Florida for years and learned alot of technical things I otherwise would of not know about . Right now I am going to start taking the grooming classes so I can also make that available as customers are away. I also took a class for safety procedures and life saving moves in choking and breathing. I have had only one cancer patient in my time as awful as it was I learned how to be able to provide the best care and knowledge of carrying and lifting the dog for bathroom breaks and sleeping in certain positions so he was completely comfortable as well as administrator all his medicines as well.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing ranges with if it is an overnight while on vacation or if they work long schedules and need to just have them out to have a break. But I am very reasonable and am willing to work with anyone in any situation my first thoughts is there pets come first if that means going a little lower cause they are short then guess what the dog is happy or the cat and the family can be rest assured that I will be there to take care of there issues. And I also have people on vacation who I also will be there for them if it's at their house or they can be at mine. I have my second bedroom as a dog room so eventually my grooming will go there and I have three cages already so I can take in now 3 animals. Or if there more comfortable at home I can be there 24 hrs and make them more comfortable.
How did you get started in this business?
I actually started when my father owned a peat control company in Connecticut and one of my customers asked me if I could come let his dogs out Twice a day and it just took off from there and never turned back. Best descion I have ever made.
