How did you get started in this business?
I started over 20 years ago with a much larger Insulation, gutter, and garage door company. I was general manager for 14 of the 20 years. I resigned in 2012, to pursue other business ventures
What types of customers have you worked with?
Builders, remodeling contractors, real estate companies, property management companies, private investors as well as residential and commercial customers.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We recently installed half round gutter and round downspouts on a custom build home in Canton, Ga. It required us to use half round hangers for the gutters and the customer requested rain chains on the front of the home. It turned out amazing, the customer was thrilled with the end result. We were so glad to be apart of the entire process.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would say make sure to get all phases of work in writing, and never pay upfront always wait to pay when project is complete and your happy with the end result. I would say lastly you usually get what you pay for, cheapest isn't always best!
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
The price is always important, when the work can be completed, what type of materials, How long the company has been in business, what type of equipment there using to complete the work with. Always listen to your gut feeling, if something doesn't feel right with that contractor or how they handle there business it maybe a good idea to move to your next choice. I hope this helps out!
