About

For more than 20 years I've been working with dogs of all abilities. Before moving to Atlanta I had a dog walking and training service that emphasized off leash, large pack interaction.

After moving to Atlanta I decided to put my experience to work helping families train their dogs towards reliable offleash obedience. At least that's the goal!

Whether it's just a little coaching, or introducing new tools and techniques, or even full on obedience training...I'm happy to put my 20+ years of experience to work for you to make your life and relationship with your pup better and more fulfilling.

The best part, the most fulfilling, is seeing the transformation of the dog...and not only that, but seeing how the owners and family change. It's about making lives better and, for me, there's really no better way to be of service.

I dont even know where to start! Scott is the bomb! He is a family member....he took my baby, Nico, out for romps from 1999 until 2010.
My Nico was a shelter dog and lets say he had issues. Well, not after a short time under Scotts love and alpha dog ways. I swear, Nico was a changed dog after just 6 months under Scotts love and care.
I could gush on and on....and think I will for a bit! Scott is beyond
professional he has integrity, skills, warmth and a true affection
and natural talent with dogs. I trust him with every fiber of my
being.
Scott always does just like he says, communicative and very fun.
I think Nico thought he was a part time Dad. 11 years kind of says it all.
After Nico died I got another rescue dog, Rigby. Oh, geez, I thought that Nico was a handful......I had no idea. My Rigby had anxiety and fear based aggression, mostly with people then also with some dogs. I was at my wits end and clueless how to manage this dog (who was super sweet with me). Scott to the rescue!!!!!! He showed me how to let Rigs know he did not have to worry about anything and that I had it covered. He also spent so much time doing exposure therapy with him. Scott would manage him as different and new people would come to my home. I learned so much about how to manage my crazy dog. I am forever grateful.
I give Scott the highest recommendation I could
give to a service!

Frequently asked questions

It starts with a phone consultation to get a better understanding what is actually happening.  We will then arrange for the first session that will include an introduction to how I train and get us started on the basics.

I had the pleasure of attending the Marin Humaine Society's Academy for Trainers back in 1998.  I've attended workshops and seminars over the years, but most of what I bring is from more than 20 years working with groups of dogs.

I have a sliding scale for training.  The normal rates start at $85-$125 per session ITP.  I reserve the right to adjust the scale for further distances or specific details of the particular job.

I want to say I've worked with just about everything...but I'm sure there are a few curveballs still out there!
