I am the Owner/ Trainer at Southern Belle Retrievers (AKA SBR) located in Jersey, Ga. I have been training dogs Professionally for over 4 years. I have traveled the United Stated running dogs in Hunt Test to earn their Titles. All breeds are welcomed here at SBR for Obedience Training. I offer training for dogs that are Reactive to people and other dogs. I will work to help the dog to be calm in situations that could cause the reactive behavior.

The services I offer includes:

Gun Dog Training- Upland/Waterfowl/Hunt Test

Obedience Training- Any breed

Nightly Boarding & Day Care - Any breed

My Kennel is an indoor Kennel that is has AC/Heat. The Kennel is located on the property where I live.

My life is centered around working and caring for dogs. When I have a dog that comes that is having issues and I set the plan on how to overcome their obstacles and when I see that dog transform into what the owner was looking for there is a feeling I get that cannot be explained. I want to see the dogs and the owners progress and I will work with both to accomplish that.

SBR starts the foundation with the dogs and then teaches the owners how to build their dog on that foundation.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I worked with the customer one on one after the training is complete with their dog. During the 5 week training I send Pictures and Videos. I will Call or Text with updates.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

My training came from a well renowned Trainer with 30 years of experience. It was hands on Training working with the dogs.

How did you get started in this business?

Dogs have always been a passion to me. I started training Retrievers to run in Field Trials and Hunt Test. I have travelled thru the US to run them. I opened my kennel and added the Obedience Training and Behavior Modification to the training.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with Military, Police Officers, NFL Players, disabled. My clients become part of the family at SBR.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

There are too many to describe just one. To help the clients and their dogs is what I aim for.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Always ask 3 questions: Are you licensed with the state? Do you have a Business License? Is your business insured?

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

What issues are they having with their dog and what are they looking to get out of the training.
