Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Within 24-36 hours we can schedule your inspection service. If research is needed on the property for permits we can handle that too. And we are there in the future if you ever have any questions with the inspection reports.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Trained with AHIT and on-going training with International Association of Home Inspectors.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
All pricing is discussed with the office. Prices may vary and we have discounted pricing for multiple inspection services.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with buyers and sellers of homes. We have worked with re-location companies, real estate agents and lawyers of real-estate trusts.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We were inspecting a very well maintained home. When we entered the attic we noticed structural damage. Because of the referral to the engineer and remodeling company the client was able to re-negotiate the contract price and have the deficiencies fixed prior to moving in.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Have the inspector explain to the clients a general summary of the inspection. Our clients can tag along during the inspection but for safety reasons need to be a safe distance while we are inspecting the panel box.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Is there a warranty on the inspection?
What is the experience of the inspectors?
What other services do you offer?
What are your payment terms?
