Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin with gathering information on the prospected property. We then find the perfect time on the schedule for the client and agent. Once confirmed, we send inspectors to the property at the sheduled date and time to inspect the property using cameras to gather photo evidence of anything found for the client. Before the inspectors leave the property to write up the report, they review their photo findings with the client. The report is then written up within a few days and sent to the client and whomever they choose to disclose the report to. (We do not send the report to anyone besides the client without the client's permission.)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have multiple licensed inspectors that are InterNachi certified in Home Inspections. Part of the certificartion includes 120 Hours worth classes of everything pertaining to a commercial or residential inspection.
One of our inspectors is also a 203K consultant and HUD certified.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Prices vary depending on the size of the home and how long it takes 2 inspectors to inspect the property.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with all types of clients. We have worked with clients purchasing a home from out of state and even out of country. We have also worked with many clients purchasing a commercial property. We have worked with first time home buyers. We have also worked with home owners seeking a wind mitigation or 4 point inspection for insurance purposes.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
We advise every client to ask questions. Ask any potential inspection company whether they will inspect the attack space, or walk the roof if conditions permit it. We also advise that each client look into the reviews of any potential inspection company and make sure clients are always given all the information.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What kind of inspection do I need? There are many different kinds of inspections offered to our clients. Some insurances require additional inspections (such as Wind Mitigation or 4 Point Inspection) to insure the property.
