Bay Home Inspections, LLC
About
Our service stands out in too many ways to list individually, but if I had to identify one single business practice that sets us apart from our competition I would refer to the time we spend on site.
Our work stands out from the competition in far too many ways to list individually. If I had to identify one single component that sets us far from the competition, it would be the time that we spend on site performing duties for our clientele. Where a normal home inspection would take approximately two hours, we spend 3-4 hours with two people, equaling 6-8 man-hours on a moderately sized home. It is impossible to spend that amount of time on site without gathering and delivering more information. We are very strong on education, very dedicated and above all we are here to serve others. Most inspectors become an inspector by reading a book and taking a test. I spent 25 years performing turn of the century restoration work, personally buying and selling properties and performing real estate inspections (thousands upon thousands). Aside from inspecting, performing contracting duties and investing in real estate, I was also a licensed appraiser (do not keep this license current) and performing many other real estate related duties, providing a well-rounded education in the process.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Traditionally, we like to spend time on the phone with potential clientele so as to perform a Q&A, ensuring that we understand their needs fully. In today’s day and age, however, that is not always what is best for the client. If they prefer to communicate via email or, as a last resort, text message, we are happy to accommodate them. We commonly communicate with international clientele via email due to time changes, international calling fees, etc.
