Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Gathering the more information possible from the customer to successfully address the job at the first place and in a professional manner.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have eight years of experience working as Landscaping Technician for "Trugreen" before starting and running my own company "The Safe Green" since 2013 with more success in getting to work for customers directed to me by Amazon, LivingSocial, Groupon and now Home Guide.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Prices always take into account the information we gather from the client or by accessing the yard while doing a free estimate, but most of our regular services are as packages: basic, intermediate or premium service and includes most of the treatment our customers need to maintain a nice looking yard.
How did you get started in this business?
I was working already as a professional Lawn Technician and start on my own by listening to some of my client's concerns that the company I was working for is not addressing. I start by offering the missing services to my customers and get my first equipment for the work by making my client pay upfront as no bank was willing to assist me.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my customers are people concerned by pollution and problem in our environment. That is also the reason why my company is an Eco-friendly company.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Don't trust all the review and star you see online. Trust your Technician by asking the right questions or listening to his answers to your concerns. It is like doing an interview. You will know at the end, if you are hiring the right pro.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What is my budget for the work. You need to have your little idea of what material, and how the job can be done if you are to realize it by yourself first. That way you can ask the right question to the pros and make sure you are paying the right price for the work you are hiring a pro.
