About
I can speak Dog! I love pets, they love me, all kinds but I have a special ability to communicate with most dogs. No Im not a dog psychic I just can tell what they need and how they are feeling. I've studied animal behavior since I was a child. I have gone to vet tech school thinking that was what I needed to do. I groomed dogs for over 12-13 years and was very good at it until getting injured in 2018. which unfortunately put an end to my career in 2020. I love all animals and do my best with them all but for whatever reason I just "know" what most dogs are trying to tell me or their owner. That is why most of them like me. I decided this was the perfect fit once I couldn't groom. because I knew I had to still work with animals,
I will Sit for you in your house. I will come over during the day watch your dog and take them to their apt. do they need a haircut or to go to the vet I'll happily come sit with them during their apt. I will stay at your house overnight so they don't have to go to the scary kennel. I don't mind the floor or the couch for the animal Ill do what is needed. or if you prefer I can just come over first thing in the am and let them out take them for a walk and spend some time with them. I can give pills, shots you name it, I don't mind, whatever your fur child needs!
I carefully Follow the PACFA and the state of CO guidlines for cleaning and safety and regulations. I am highly skilled but I truly love what I do.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will Sit at your home or visit your home regularly to check on your pets
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained at Petsnart in their Academy then ventured out on my own to learn more. I've worked with a lot of talented people and I continue to study. I have began the process of becoming certified which has given me so much more knowledge. I have over 11years grooming experience and I'm always looking to improve and learn.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Most grooms or services are based on breed but can vary greatly depending on the animal and the services provided. It's best to call or bring your pet by to get a more accurate quote.
How did you get started in this business?
I have always loved animals and always wanted a career working with them. I kind of fell into grooming because I wasn't looking to become a groomer. I just needed a job and started working at Petsnart and I found a passion and a real talent for grooming.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with all kinds of clients. Anyone is welcome. I don't have a favorite breed of dog or haircut. I just love grooming. I enjoy a challenge so I do work with aggressive and scared animals. I like to watch the transformation when they realize I'm not that bad.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I advise clients to find a groomer they are happy to see and can communicate with. Stick to that person. Don't base your decision on pricing or type of location. Whether it be a high end salon or someone who is laid back working in their garage. Base your choice of groomer on the relationship they have with you and your dog.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Ask about experience not necessarily how long they've been grooming but what type of grooming and any certifications they may have. However having a certification does not mean they are a better groomer than someone who doesn't have one.
Ask them if they have references or pictures of their grooms.
Ask if they know about the state and local safety regulations concerning pet groomers and if they've been inspected.
Most of all I say trust your gut. Most dogs are scared of the groomer regardless of who they are or how they've been treated. A lot of them simply don't enjoy grooming. They also smell the other animals and it can be noisy. So be sure to take into consideration how the groomer interacts with your pet more than how your pet reacts to the groomer.
