Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, I meet with the customer and go over the project with them. They explain what they are hoping for and I discuss options with them to meet these goals. I then provide a comprehensive estimate for the proposed work. Once work begins, I work closely with my customers so they understand how the job is going and update them continuously on job progress.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed a 4 year apprenticeship as well as 4 years of college to get my journeyman's license. I then completed another 2000 hours to get my Master's license. In order to receive these licenses, I had to complete testing at the state level.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We are a flat rate company which means that we provide you with the total price before we start work. This price does not change unless the scope of work changes.
How did you get started in this business?
I started in Electrical years ago as a way to provide for my family. I've worked in all avenues of electrical including residential, commercial and industrial. I also am an instructor and teach the electricians of tomorrow.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work primarily with residential and commercial customers. I have many contractors that I work with however, I also work with many home and business owners.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently I was asked to provide the Electrical for a home reconstruction. The home was a total loss following a catastrophic fire. I worked closely with the homeowners to turn this tragedy into the best possible outcome for them which was to put them back into a home that was exactly what they'd dreamed of having. it was an honor to be a part of that.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure that the professional is licensed in your area. Don't be afraid to ask for photos of work done and references from previous customers. Question them about their experience to make sure that they have done the type of work your needing done.
