Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We usually go to the home and complete an in home consultation. This includes talking to the customer, seeing what work is needed, measuring the area and completing an estimate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been working in Hardwood Flooring for over 20 years.
How did you get started in this business?
My best friend and his dad had a hardwood flooring company. They offered to let me go to work with them one day and I loved it. I feel like an artist and the hardwood floor is my canvas.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with a wide variety of customers.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I had a customer who's son had severe asthma. Knowing this I couldn't use polyurethane without the customer having to leave their home for several days. So I suggested a water base sealant which is a little bit more but better for the customer and her son. She was very grateful she didn't have to leave her home and I could finish the work without her or her son becoming sick.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
You should have a list of questions to ask the companies you talk to.
Always going the cheapest isn't the best remember you get what you pay for.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What kind of flooring job am I looking to have done?
