Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to take a few minutes to just talk and try to get to know a new customer and really take the time to make sure I understand exactly what they’re trying to accomplish. That usually makes the whole process a lot easier, and ensures everyone is satisfied at the end.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Master Electrician, and am also NICET level 2 certified. I have studied LEAN construction techniques, and am always current with the latest code changes to the National Electric Code.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I do not use standard pricing because in my experience at least 75% of customers are then over-paying for simple services. I use a base rate for different services, and then apply a multiplier to adjust for difficulty in installation, or higher material costs.
How did you get started in this business?
I’ve always been a very hands-on type of person. And after a few years in college for engineering , I lucked into a job as an electrician, it was such a good fit I never went back.
