Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer a site visit to understand all of the variables and to accurate lay out the scope of work so there are no surprises. We provide a free estimate, easy scheduling and payment process. We ensure the work is complete, inspected if need be and the job site is safe and clean before we leave.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have master electricians on staff and journeymen and apprentices work under their direction. With over 20 years of experiences in both residential and commercial we can take on pretty much any task or service.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We try to price jobs as fairly as possible. With a thorough and detailed scope of work, our clients are never surprised by the pricing of the planned work. We do have a reasonable minimum and typically credit troubleshooting time against any final repairs we are hired to perform.
How did you get started in this business?
With detailed military training and certification in the field, we have continued our education both in the field and the classroom. We also teach transitioning military personnel who desire to be employed in the field.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We service the whole range of property and system types. We serve residential, industrial and commercial in everything from original and repairing wiring, lighting, load centers and panels to the installation of solar and batteries.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We installed a full solar system with batteries along with upgrading the main panel and installing to subpanels, providing an automatic transfer switch for a complete offgrid solution. The capper was to come back and install a fast-charge electric vehicle charger. The client was very happy and we were satisfied we could add so much value with a seamless solution.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Be sure you understand the whole job or scope of work as we call it and be sure you are satisfied it will solve you problem or meet your goal. Estimates should always be free for new work and reasonable and upfront for any trouble shooting.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
There are basic things like thoroughness, professionalism, timing and price. Ultimately all of that should add up to value. Don't just focus on price. Be sure you will get quality work.
