Very clear and easy to understand, very practical, very effective techniques.

I really appreciated that Tommy listened to our objectives and applied them appropriately. We were stunned when he was able to get our 10 week old puppy to obey commands after just a few minutes. Tommy helped us to integrate our new puppy well with our grown dog. Most importantly, he gently guided us as owners on modifying our own behavior. Highly recommend, and we will use his services again.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Usually a phone call and a brief run down of the clients needs/goals and set up an appointment.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Showed and Bred Champion Rottweilers in Europe and the US. Owned a luxury dog resort with grooming, daycare, boarding, retail, and training.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

It varies case by case. No two situations are alike and all dogs are different. Prices are higher if it’s an aggression case. Since thumbtack only lets us give one price quote it’s hard to pin down the right cost for the training. Some are simple fixes when I get to a clients house and I charge less.

How did you get started in this business?

Showing and competing with my Rottweilers.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Dog owners, lol. I had around 3000 clients on St Simons Island before moving to California just before 2018 so you could say I’ve worked with all.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Every situation is unique so it’s hard to choose. It doesn’t take me long to fix behavior problems. Training on the other hand is a ongoing process.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

Experience is key. Do not resort to quick fix training such as e-collar or static collars. Read reviews.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

Usually the client already has the questions ready to go.
