Nothing!!!!

Absolutely the worst experience ever. Now I need to hire a professional to fix all the damage that was done and a lawyer to sue him for the costs of redoing all the work.

We agreed that he would refinish a bathtub for me. That he did well. He was supposed to change the fixtures. I’ve already paid someone to remove the improperly installed fixture.

He was supposed to fix a cabinet in my bathroom. He did not do that at all.

He was supposed to install ceiling fans and at the last minute told me he couldn’t because he had a big job waiting for him in California.

Most important was the floor. I had wall to wall carpeting removed. He was to remove the baseboard, install vinyl flooring on top of sound insulation and replace the baseboard. I explicitly told him I didn’t want quarter round. He told me it’s a two day job. First thing he did was trim the baseboards because he claimed they couldn’t be removed. Ended up he caused so much damage that he had to install quarter round. He installed it so poorly I made him pull it out, buy a better grade of product (the quarter round he purchased didn’t cover the gaps he left between the flooring and the baseboard). When he installed that, he left it looking really bad - there are gouges in the trim he installed. He caused so much damage to the freshly painted walls and trim. The floor is installed with so many nicks and chips. It’s not level in some areas. In others it looks like someone patched the floor. He did an absolutely horrible job. I would never never never recommend him to anyone. And it took him almost two weeks.

I have now hired a person to fix all the work he did. Next step is court.
