Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to walk them through the whole process. We have them meet with a field rep or comfort consultant and if they choose to work with us, then the office staff will send out a follow up letter explaining the whole install process. We're a family run and locally operated business so we treat every job like we're doing it for our own family.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All our techs are EPA certified and select few are also NATE certified.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We have a flat rate price for repairs and maintenance but new installs vary depending on the equipment.
How did you get started in this business?
The owner started off as an installer helper, worked his way up to lead installer, then service tech, then estimator, eventually branching out on his own. He knows the ins and outs of the industry.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Any and all. We install the simplest of wall furnaces to the most complex solar-integrated geothermal systems and everything in between. You need something for home comfort? We do it!
Describe a recent project you are fond of.
We have been working on a custom job for months now that has almost every type of work we do: geothermal, solar, air handlers, heat pumps and so on and so forth. It's great experience for the whole team.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure they are licensed, know what they're talking about, get permits and testing for every job they do, and are willing to answer all your questions. Patience and diligence is what you want when looking for an HVAC contractor.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Do they suffer from allergies? How often do they use their system? Do they want to finance? Are they interested in lowering their utility bills? Do I wanted to look for something of value or the cheapest product out there? (We'll give you a hint on that one, when shopping for something this large, always go for the option with the most value.)
