JDC Energy Solutions has over 8 years of experience in the electrical industry. We take on a wide range of electrical projects to include full installation for additions and remodels, as well as, wiring and panel upgrades, and a variety of other jobs. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The installation process starts with a properly completed home evaluation. The evaluation will let us know what areas of your roof will yield the most solar energy. A well designed PV system will yield more energy for the life of the system, a single pv module placed in the wrong part of your roof could greatly decrease energy production.
DURING A HOME EVALUATION WE:
* Measure the full dimension of your roof
* Locate all pipes, obstructions and chimneys as these can cast shade on your solar modules
* Complete a Suneye Analysis to determine the percentage of sunlight your roof will yield
* Review your home roofing structure to determine weight of PV modules and wind conditions
* Inspect the Main Service Panel to determine its capacity and ability to handle the solar system.
