Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A customer calls us and we schedule a convenient time for a free inspection. Our technician goes to the customer's home, goes into the attic, evaluates the situation, and takes photos. Then the technician explains the scope of work to the client and provides them with an estimate. When the estimate is accepted, we schedule a time for our installation team to come in and handle the client's needs. After installation, we clean up and make sure you could never know we were in your attic removing debris, dust, and old insulation!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Insulation Labs is a licensed C-2 insulation installation contractor in the greater Los Angeles area. Our team is comprised of experienced technicians that are professional, kind, patient, and willing to explain every step of the process to you.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
We don't have fixed pricing; each job is dependent on the debris needed to be removed, the size of the attic, the accessibility to the space, whether there needs to be additional work like rodent proofing or duct removal, etc.
How did you get started in this business?
Attic Insulation Labs is owned and operated by 2 people with years and years of construction experience. We have a passion for indoor temperature control and providing energy efficient solutions to our clients that are better for everyone overall.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Make sure you are working with a licensed contractor! We are licensed, insured, bonded, and pay workers comp. When working in the attic, there are a bunch of issues that can occur. If you work with an unlicensed contractor, you may be out of luck if they mess up your ceiling, electricity, or roof.
