What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a phone consultation to discuss the needs of both owner and pet(s). From there we recommend one of our services and give a quote. Once approved, we move forward with a scheduled meet and greet for pet sitting/walking or the first training session!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our owner and founder, Josie, has had over a decade of experience in the pet industry, varying from different species (dogs, cats, horses, aquatics, and more) and different fields of study (behavior, care, veterinary med, pet products, and more). This along with her Animal Science degree gives her and this company a unique insight and perspective on pet caregiving and training.

How did you get started in this business?
Passion - that's how and where the best things start. That and a natural and instinctual aptitude for studying and interacting with animals.
This company may be young, but the drive, curiosity, and passion for animals started decades earlier when all of us working at The Tail Collective were little toddlers.
