What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually I like to walk the job and send a quote if it's more then a day's work, it all depends on the job but hourly rates apply at times also.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 12 years experience and have owned my company for 9 years. I have countless references, I work with high end designers, contractors and many repeat clients. I trained on the job and have taken classes over the years.

usually the cheapest price is low quality work and you end up repairing the work and spend more money in the long run, so hire the professional always, its worth more to have peace of mind that the job is done right.
