I'm not the realtor for everyone. There are definitely people who will appreciate my hands-on approach to home buying and selling - I think it should be fun and low stress. At the same time, I also draw from over 25 years of experience as a high tech entrepreneur. I started at IBM Canada, and was recruited by a Silicon Valley startup to become part of their senior management team. I went on to co-found a successful computer consulting firm. As exciting as high tech was, I longed for a more people-oriented career. The past two years in real estate have been so wonderful, I'm wondering why it took me so long!

I believe that every transaction holds the promise of success for both parties and I strive to treat all agents and clients the way I wish to be treated. Everyone says it-but I am truly passionate about my clients (just ask them!) and spend time and energy negotiating the best value for their dream home and helping my sellers through a smooth, stress-free sale of their home. I've lived in Folsom for 18 years, successfully navigating two sons through Carl Sundahl Elementary, Sutter Middle and Folsom High Schools and into Santa Clara University and UC Berkeley. I proudly served as the Sundahl Foundation President, Sutter Fundraising Chair and Folsom High PTSA President. Those wonderful years gave me a unique understanding of the deep generosity, as well as the diverse needs, of families in Folsom and the surrounding communities.

When I'm not selling real estate, you can find me running or biking on the miles of Folsom trails, paddleboarding on Lake Natoma or skiing with my husband Steve in Tahoe.

I usually follow that up with a brief questionairre that we discuss at the face-to-face meeting

The next step - whether dealing with buying or selling - is a face to face. At that time we go over the questions and if I'm dealing with a buyer, a fairly exentsive set of questions on lifestyle and goals ... the idea is that it's better to ask 50 questions than see 50 houses! This meeting takes place either at my office or at a location where the buyer is comfortable. I also bring in members of my team - lenders and assistants as required.

If I am working with a seller, the meeting takes place at their home. I go over the client's requirements, where they are moving and when and get a clear picture of their goals and how I can help them achieve them. We discuss relevant comparative properties and review the price range that makes sense according to the client's goals. I put together an extensive list of upgrades, improvements and benefits of the property and review my marketing plan with the client.

As a Keller Williams Realty agent, we have extensive training, and I attend classes at least once a week on buying, selling and investing as well as the real estate market, ethics, negotiation and mortgages.

As a resident of Folsom for almost 20 years, I have indepth knowledge of the community, the school system and the many wonderful neighborhoods. I volunteered extensively in the community, including PTA President and both elementary and high school.

I have worked with new home buyers, young professionals, seniors, empty nesters, people moving in and moving out of the community and clients throughout the greater Sacramento area.

I love the trip that Santa makes around the neighborhood - sponsored by the local Police and Fire departments. I sponsor cookies and hot chocolate in the local park while we all wait for his arrival!
