What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will normally contact a new customer. Introduce myself.Giving the customer my qualifications and years of experience.Normally I would ask a customer when is a good time For them to have me Come over to look at the project to give them an estimate.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 20 years of experience in electrical construction. I am a general journeyman Electrician Licensed by the state of California I have completed a five-year State indentured Electrical training program.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I do have a standard pricing system.If the project is a time and material situation My hourly rate is $50 per hour With a two hour minimum per project.If the project is more in depth I will let the customer knowWhat it will take to be completed and give them a hard dollar number.
How did you get started in this business?
Side jobs and word-of-mouth.I have been employed For the last 17 years By large electrical contractors I have held positions such as formen and general formen.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Homeowners and business owners.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have just finished a $30,000 Electrical only project.In the city of Glendale The homeowner was very satisfied with All the work. The project was just signed Off For final by building and safety Glendale.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a company in your area of expertise?
Hire a company whose willing to put their money where there mouth is What I mean by that is .For myself I do not expect a customer to payme until the project is 100% complete And meets their satisfaction.
What questions should customers think through before talking to companies about their needs?
I think it so important for customers to ask their service provider is there any upfront cost before any work can be started.A customer should not have to Put any money out of pocket to purchase materials upfront.
