What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I started my plumbing career in the union. They train their workers expertly and ensure that we are very knowledgable and capable before allowing us to work on our own. Working for the union is about doing everything right the first time. After completing the apprenticeship, I recieved my journeyman card and certificate.

I have also recieved extensive customer service training which allows me to take better care of my customers needs and gain greater customer satisfaction.

How did you get started in this business?

Starting out as a laborer, I was given the opportunity to help out on a plumbing demolition project. After helping them finish in less time than they planned for, they offered a position in the plumbers and pipefitters union. This happened at the time my daughter was born. Needless to say, the offer was accepted.
