The German Shepherd Guy

My experience comes from owning a German Shepherd rescue and dealing with some extremely aggressive cases from dogs out the high kill shelters. Understanding dogs behavior and body language is the key to having a respectful relationship with any dog. I apply this in Pet Sitting and in my home to training one on one with the dog and plus with its owner. When you understand what the dog needs it is much easier to train or care for the dog. I am not a treat trainer, I train with positive reinforcement (praise). I am very direct and to the point and do no sugar coat your dog behavior or your treatment of your dog.

Training- It is very rewarding to watch the owner establish a respectful relationship with their dog through training. I love watching the results after the first lesson and seeing with the correct guidance that you can have a respectful relationship with your dog.

In Home Dog Boarding - When I pick the dog from the owners home and watching how excited the dog is to see me. After caring for the dog and knowing the dog will be returned to the owner the same way I picked them up, just a little tired from their stay.
