What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We set a meeting on phone or in person to see if we are a good fit to work together. We have to discuss budget for project and a detailed list of all steps required is discussed.
I'm on every project and complete open communication takes place with a start date and total number of man hours required to complete project and exceed expectations.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
23 years of painting new and old surfaces. Prior military were attention to detail was necessary. 11 years of teaching Physical Education and coaching.

Daily price for a craftsman and all the necessary tools to complete interior and exterior painting. No repaint or new project can be set by a square foot price. Paintable surfaces have to be calculated and then the number of times the surfaces need to be cleaned, sanded, primed and number of top coats applied. Total number of man hours or man days have to be calculated.
How did you get started in this business?
Was painting part time in Sun City while teaching in the Peoria school district and crossed over to painting full time because it was more rewarding. I also teach best painting practices while working side by side with home owners that would like to be coached through a proffesinal painting project.

I have worked for all ages and from all career fields. Helping with new work and old work.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Returning to a property I helped remodel back in 2011 and completed some wood restoration on exterior and put a fresh coat of paint on interior to help home owner ready home for the market.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
A quality paint job that adds value is going to cost more than the next painter that is only going to put in just enough effort and paint on to satitsfy the ROC's 2 year requirement.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What are their long term goals and current expectations in requards to their home. They need a set budget that they should discuss openly. Maybe project has to be completed in phases so quality is not compromissed.
