What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Estimate the cost of job after walking it with the customer and getting every detail of their vision.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
IBEW apprenticeship program along with IEC affiliates. Have been in the industry for over 20 plus years with an abundance of Residential, Commercial and industrial experience. Knowledgeable in all applications from motor control to solar. Anything Electrical we are able to handle. Current on all NEC codes along with city and state jurisdiction.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Prices vary according to the job, we basically charge $100.00 for the first hour and $65.00 each additional hour.
How did you get started in this business?
As a young boy I was always fascinated by electricity and how it works and I dreamed of becoming an electrician and I learned from some of the best.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We have worked with large contractors that had us on the U of A football field project, the Amazon hub, Dove Mountain was one we had a hand in. To every day people that need electrical help. To even the Mines there's a plethora of experience in this company. Nothing we have never seen before.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
When tortilita jr high lost power we replaced the transformer for them. Marana high school needed a switch on they're main gear we changed it for them.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
If you are looking for a pro look at their background see where they learned the trade, see if they are qualified and trained to give you outstanding work. Dads Electric takes pride in providing our customers with nothing but the best workmanship. We guarantee our workmanship for 2 years.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Ask if they have experience in the project at stake and what experience that is. Ask them if they are licensed. And who they were trained by in this field, ask if they are familiar with the local codes and laws.
