A Honest Abe's
About
Where there’s smoke... To George Smith, the founder of A Honest Abe’s, the smell of wood smoke has always meant opportunity. He and his brother sold firewood throughout college to earn extra money. It was a good business but it was a lot of hard work. George knew that chimney fires can be devastating to your home. He also knew that many of his firewood customers didn’t get their chimneys cleaned properly, if at all.
After he graduated, George decided to work from the other end of the fireplace and became a chimney sweep. As he puts it, “I went from being the cause to being the cure.”
Honest work. The recession of 2008 spelled doom for many similar business, but A Honest Abe’s was one of three that survived those difficult times. How? They are honest, committed to providing good service, and their techniques are superior to all the others resulting in greater value for your money.
