Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin with a consultation to pinpoint exactly what the client's needs are to address them thoroughly and accurately. I help my clients solve problems they're having with their current situation.
Then I will provide you with an easy to read, digital estimate that can be turned into an invoice instantly. Everything is itemized so you know where your money is going.
Next we schedule an appropriate time to start, give you a finish time and then begin production.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
K-9th grade program of studies in Advanced mathematics and sciences.
I have been remodeling homes for the last 16+ years, with talented small business owners... Real experiences, hands on learning.
Carpentry certification (2006)
Tile setting courses (2008)
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
I use a program that gives me updated prices of labor, supplies and time frames. It provides an industry low and high pricing for all the aspects of the project.
I keep my pricing in the middle of the scope for fairness to all parties.
How did you get started in this business?
I could never find someone that wanted to provide the level of customer service that I believe we all deserve.
Also, I wanted to build something to leave behind for my children. Something great where they will be proud of the quality and expectations left through the stories of our clients.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Home owners, Landlords, Apartment complexes, contractors, business owners and companies.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A gentleman that I installed their kitchen cabinets and replaced their baseboards/trim, very sincerely told me that I was "a master of my craft" as he shook my hand.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
You deserve excellent customer service don't settle for just ok. If something ever feels off or unsafe, it probably is in one way or another. Also, there is a huge difference in Cheaper services and inexpensive services.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Am I happy about the service that I'm receiving? Am I happy with the timeline, this person's interest in the project? Am I getting what I originally wanted?
