What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Whether you are a buyer or seller, we want to meet you IN PERSON! This way, we can get to know eachother and see if we would be the best fit for your real estate needs. We are open and honest, and tell our customers what the NEED to hear, which may not always be what they WANT to hear. Additionally, information is power. We pride ourselves on giving our customers the information they need to make the best decisions, whether buying or selling real estate.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Mikey Whitcomb, the broker/owner for Steel Horse Realtor & Company, has been a real estage agent since 2008 and has sold over 600 homes during that time. Experience is key in real estate. Mikey has the on-hands experience necessary to navigate tricky real estate waters.

What types of customers have you worked with?
Any buyer or seller who is ready for an honest, no-nonsense realtor. I will not put on an act, what you get is what you see. I guarantee that you will be surprised when you meet me. I am an avid motorcycle rider, as well as, a professional real estate agent, loving father of 3 kids, and faithful husband.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Just recently a buyer I have been working with for the past 3 years finally had the credit to purchase a home for his family. I stayed in touch with him during those 3 years and built a great friendship wth him. Closing was extra special for him, because he worked so hard to obtain that home.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Interview at least 3 real estate agents. Don't settle with your cousin who just received their real estate license a month ago. Ensure that you choose an agent who has the experience and negotiating skills to get you be best price for your next home.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Ask how much experience they have in real estate. How many transactions do they work on average per year?
