About
My love for creating beautifulIy functional and comfortable living spaces has always been a passion of mine. My journey began many years ago with an emphasis on color selection which quickly evolved into full design of interior spaces. I offer an array of design and decorationg consultations with an expertise in color, lighting, furniture and accessory selection and placement. I've built several homes from the ground-up including all selections of furniture and have worked hand and hand with general contractors to ensure a detailed and well thought out end result. A degree in fine art and textile design was the impetus for a career in helping to beautify people's homes. It's enabled me to meet with people (one of my favorite parts of the job)! and share my love for color as well as encourage those to get in touch with their desire to create their home or workspace of their dreams.
I believe that learning about people and what is important to them is one of the key componants to helping acheive the home of one's dreams. I've been successful in acheiving that goal by listening carefully and discussing the client's ultimate goals.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally come out to a site to do an inital consultatoin where we discuss the full scope of work while prioritizing and addressing the wish-list of the client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA from the Art Institute of Chicago with a focus on textile design. This naturally morphed into interior deisgn over the years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing is based on an hourly rate which is $125.00. I ask for initial payment for the first visit and bill every other week if we decide to continue. I also will try to give the best pricing for my clients if I am purchasing merchandise.
How did you get started in this business?
I began working in interior design many years ago after having had much success in color consultations. People increasingly began asking me for my advise in regards to furntiure selection and placement amongst other aspects to help create a fully integrated and functional living space.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have primarily worked with home owners but have also helped several businesses create inviting office spaces.
