Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical process involved the home owner meeting face to face with either one of the owners or a forman/project manager for their initial consultation. We promise to never send a salesman applying a hard sell. Once we inspect the project we will supply the home owners with a quote and answer any questions. After that, it's up to the home owner, no hard sale or buy now tactics, just facts! The whole process normally takes 15 to 30 mins depending on the size of the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We stay up to date with the latest availiable technology related to the concrete/masonry/foundation industry. We stay current with our required education to maintain our license. We also attend expos and demonstration as well as engineering seminars. Lastly we are a member of Wisconsin Association of Foundation Repair Professionals, which has helped dictate the building codes which are followed by the state.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Our biggest piece of advice is to always compare apples to apples. At the end of the day you get what you pay for, but that doesn't mean the highest price is the most quality option. Always do your due dilligence and research the contractors you are interested in.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Ask yourself, what do you want. You have to live with the final product, don't let the contractor dictate that for you. Have a vision and find a contractor based on their ability to see and understand your vision as well.
