Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally we will have a discussion over the phone or via email to gather some basic information about the project. Then we schedule an absolutely free estimate where we come out an go over project in more detail and take a full assessment of project site. Generally estimates can be completed within 1 to 3 hours depending on type and size of project. Certain projects we can provide estimates for while on site and other more complex estimates may take up to 48 hours for us to complete.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Chad, one of our managing members and field supervisors has completed the necessary education to have a Dwelling Contractor Qualifier License issued by the state of Wisconsin. As a requirement for this license/certification Chad is required to complete continuing education credits every year. This ensures all of our projects are completed properly and meet or exceed Wisconsins Uniformed Dwelling Code.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Because every job is a different there are many factors that we have to look at when estimating a project. For some projects we can sometimes give a ballpark estimate with a few photos and general information but ultimately we always want to meet in person to go over job so that way we can provide the best possible price.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with homeowners, tenants, property management groups, realtors, home investors, commercial property owners, daycares, resturaunts, department stores.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
I would definetely recommend that a customer always looks into who they are hiring. Calling customers and checking reviews are a great way to start out. All to often we get phone calls from customers and hear how another contractor did something wrong or never completed the job.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
The biggest thing in our opinion that a client should ask a professional is about their qualifications to perform. Also it is important to check for proper license and insurance.
