What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
CUSTOMER CALLS. WE ANSWER AND GIVE QUOTE FOR TOW BASED ON LOCATION AND SIZE OF THE VEHICLE.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
ALL OF THE DRIVERS ARE AUTOMOBILE TECHNICIANS.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Light duty rates are 2$ per mile plus a 65$ hook fee. Medium duty rates are 3$ per mile plus a 125$ hook fee. Jump starts, door unlocks and tire changes are all 45$ and then of course mileage. Rates change after 5pm-7am, Monday through Friday.
How did you get started in this business?
We are 4 generations in the automotive business. We were a new car dealership from 1948 till the early 2000's. We are a customer service driven business. It is our job to make breakdowns and accidents or even just transports as painless as possible.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with local dealerships transporting vehicles that have a hiccup. We have hauled Sheryl's she shed and respond to Sherrifs department calls. Locals in our area choose Swant Towing because we are fair and considerate.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We are fond of our trucks. We take great care of our service vehicles. We currently have 5 tow trucks. 3 rollbacks and 2 wreckers.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Expect a smooth and easy going experience. Be willing to pay a fair rate. And let us take care of you and your vehicle.
