Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting all the information I will need about their home including; size of home, number of bathrooms and bedrooms, deep clean or standard clean, last cleaning was, if any. I give the customer the option by doing an on-site estimate for price or over the phone and if they will be present during the clean.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have cleaned homes since I was a teenager, as my parents owned apartment buildings and rental homes. I went to college for dental assisting and worked in the dental business for 23 years. I always did cleaning jobs on the side. I now exclusively do cleanings of residential homes and BnBs since 2018 with my business license.

How did you get started in this business?
As a teenager I cleaned the apartments and rental homes my parents owned when residents move out. I learned to be very detailed and thorough at a young age.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've cleaned every size of home and bnbs.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I cleaned a home that was cleaned by a previous cleaner on a regular basis. That cleaner changed jobs. The lady was totally amazed with the job I had done. She couldn't believe how thorough and detailed I was. I got a $50 tip and referrals and acquired 2 more customers from her. It was an awesome feeling seeing how happy she was!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Sometimes the cost of hiring someone does matter. It's very hard, but rewarding work. Make sure the cleaner listens to your needs. Some customers want eco friendly products. I always listen to my customers request on that. Make sure they have experience and have referrals on hand for you. That makes you feel more at ease when learning to trust there qualities.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
Always let the cleaner know when your last cleaning was, if any. That way they can determine what kind of cleaning you need. Let them know if you have pets and any other things that might take extra time on your clean. How big is your home, bathrooms, bedrooms, number of levels, carpet or wood floor or both. All these types of things will help give a better estimate for your clean. When it comes to pets is also important to let them know,in case they have issues with certain types of pets, that your willing to place the pet in a kennel or outside. Me myself, I love pets and have no issues at all!
