About
I'm a very well rounded trainer and a member of lilac city dog training club. I have experience in general obedience, canine good citizen courses, and compete my dog in nosework & participate in agility (was ready to start competing this summee but all events where canceled due to pandemic).
I garuntee my results, if the behavior is not fixed in the quoted amount of time, I will continue working free of charge until the behavior is concrete.
I come to you, I firmly believe for the best results dog training should start where the dog lives before training in more distracting environments. I always teach new behaviors using positive reinforcement.
All training starts with a phone consultation, after the consultation typically I will be able to provide you with a quoted amount of time to achieve your goals. In more severe behavior modification cases, I may need to do an in person evaluation to access the extent of the behavior modifaction before providing a quote (typically only for severe seperation anxiety, and aggression or recourse guarding).
For private lessons, we generally conduct all sessions at your home.
For board and trains, I will come to your home to perform an initial evaluation before taking your dog back to the facility for their board and train session, this gives me the ability to really assess all factors that could be contributing to any undesirable behaviors, it also allows me to adjust their training to your lifestyle.
I absolutley love working with dogs and helping people train their own dog to be a well behaved family member.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start with a phone consult to find out any issues you may be having, what behaviors your looking to modify, what behaviors your looking for your dog to have. Typically I can find all the information I need with this initial consult. In the rare occasion of extreme seperation anxiety and/or agression, I do an in person consult before being able to givew you a quote to fix the problem.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a member of Lilac City Dog Training Club. I started out assistihng the Canine Good Citizen Course. I compete my dogs in nosework, and plan to compete one in agility once she is of age.

How did you get started in this business?
I'm a member of Lilac City Dog Training Club. I started out assistihng the Canine Good Citizen Course.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have experience in general obedience, typically for issues such as leash reactivity and walking nicely on a leash I can fix within 1 full hour session. I also have experience with board and trains for general obedience, seperation anxiety, recourse guarding, and aggression.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently, I had a dog that was so terrified of the construction equipment outside the front door (on the road) she would flail and pee herself when asked to go out for a potty break. I was able to get her to hold a place command on the actual construction equimpent within just 3 days.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Give as many details as possible. Frequently I will get a dog in for a board and train for a behavior modification but it turns out there is a completely different underlying issue. So the most information you can provide is so helpful, not just about their behaviors, but their life style.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What expectations do you have for your dog? Are you willing to continue the training to assure what they learned sticks for life?
