The furnace in my rental died during a cold snap. Utopia had a technician out the same day and a new unit installed within two days. My tenants were warm and happy. They saved me from a major headache.

I had to move out early because of a job transfer. Utopia was really understanding. They let me find a replacement tenant and only charged a small fee. My old landlord would have kept my whole deposit. I appreciate them working with me.

Nighttime security has been a top priority for Utopia Property Management in Seattle, and the results are remarkable. Jacob oversaw the installation of high intensity floodlights around the entire property and ensured that every blind spot was eliminated. He also organized a neighborhood watch program and actively encourages residents to look out for one another. I feel so much safer knowing that both the management and the community are so vigilant.

DO NOT EVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY
We rented a home for 2 years from this company. Here are some of the things we dealt with:
1) our only bathroom sink was broken by a utopia employee attempting to fix it - we then went over 3 months without a functioning bathroom sick because they refused to fix it. We only got it fixed once we threatened legal action and CC’ed a lawyer on our email thread
2) one of the bedrooms did not have a functioning heater. This wasn’t disclosed to us until after we moved in. We asked them to repair, and they refused. It’s the law to have a functioning heater in each room of the home.
3) the landlord decided to randomly charge us for utilities when he felt like it with no documentation as to how much the bills actually were. Utopia was aware of this and refused to enforce proper laws about it
4) they are COMPLETELY unresponsive about maintenance issues. Jacob would only answer my husbands emails/calls, not mine.
5) after 2 years of unresponsiveness, they decided to force us to comply with home tours while we were still living in the home (yes this is the law, I’ve never had a rental company enforce this) despite us requesting they wait one week for us to be out of the home (and the following week was still within the month we had paid for)
After all of these issues, and taking good care of this home, we get $0 of our deposit back. Truly the worst 2 years of my life.
