About
I became a dog trainer 11 years ago, and started my pet sitting business, Claws for the Cause, in 2009.
I'm pet CPR and First Aid certified, pet psychology certified, and insured. I'm able to give most medications without problem (including IVs for dogs and cats).
I love to work with all species, not just dogs and cats. I currently see ferrets, sugar gliders, rabbits, Guinea pigs, bearded dragons and other lizard species, cornsnakes, various python and boa species, geckos, and more.
I'd love to provide loving, reliable care for you and your pet companion, whether it’s for training or sitting.

The simplest way to put it is that I love animals. I prefer animals to people. I got started in this field with dog training and basic animal care, and the more I got involved, the more I knew I was on the right path.
I love taking care of animals. I've taken pack adventures to Ocean Shores, Cape Flattery, and the Key Peninsula, and I’ve brought packs on hikes in the Cascade foothills. With cats, who enjoy the playtime they get and really appreciate a clean litterbox, I love providing affection and reassurance while their humans are away.
When it comes to dog training, I really enjoy helping pet parents and their dogs start communicating. It’s always a pleasure to help shape that bond with positive behavior modifications. I offer group courses and classes, private in-home sessions, and behavior-specific seminars.
I also can't get enough time walking outside with the pups. It's great exercise for the dogs and provides amazing pack bonding and socialization. Walking all over Seattle, I help your dog gain exposure to many new things, get a great workout, and come home ready to snuggle.
