I spent 4 years working at a dog grooming salon prior to 13 years as an animal control officer where I spent 50+ hours per week assisting owners with their dogs and helping them with ways to properly manage their pets behaviors. During this time I took Several seminars With many instructors from all over the world. I left there with much knowledge and ideas on helping dog owners have well trained pet dogs, to spend life with. One seminar in particular truly changed my life with dogs forever, it was taught by an instructor named John Rogerson from New England. This class was a total of 21 days straight and it focused on Behavior modification for a large variety of different breeds. Over the 21 days we learned an unbelievable amount of possitive training techniques for each breed of dog. I now work independently as a private dog trainer and I use the skills which I gained from all of my past experiences that I encountered each day while working those tireless hours as an ACO but I've now developed much knowledge that I use daily to assist owners in creating the best pet dogs possible for their family.
my dog grooming skills are great for the basic hair cuts on those large breeds to the tiny toys dogs although poodle paws That require clean feet I prefer not to do but I am happy to help make your pet more pleasant to cuddle up too. I have all the grooming equipment at my home in covington and I'm open to transporting your dog to my place if that helps at all. For simple grooms I can possibly arrange coming to you and grooming at your location. I also offer toenail trimming, anal gland expressing, and simple dental care. It's like a day at the pet spa for your doggy.
I love dogs! I own several of my own and I enjoy assisting owners with their pets. It is a wonderful feeling to know that I helped an animal and their owners understand one and another and begin to truly enjoy life together. Dogs are amazing animals and there is nothing more rewarding to me than to know that I'm helping a dog become a perfect pet and companion for a family. This keeps dogs out of shelters and saves lives one doggy at a time.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Contact me and we can schedule an appointment to groom your dog or talk further in depth about your dog training needs and what behaviors that are not desired which your dog or dogs has displayed. I won't take a job which I do not feel like I can accomplish the desired results. I am an honest person who wants only what's best for the dogs so if I feel like your dog needs more than I have available I will be upfront and let you know that before wasting anyone's time. I understand how valuable time is and how important a well behaved dog is and I promise to be upfront and honest before any money exchanged hands.
