I specialize in creating affordable, flexible decorating designs that are founded on quality pieces to last through style trends and life, while adding in warmth and character through affordable, fun pieces that you can change with the trends, seasons and whims. My styling ranges from traditional to modern and everything in between.
I love to take on a project where I can turn someone's house into a personal depiction of the people who live there. I love color, pattern and texture and coming up with ways to combine those together that make your home feel lived-in, welcoming and reflective of who you are. I love meeting people and seeing how they live and the challenge of making spaces for the uniqueness of different lifestyles and personalities.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Whether you've chosen e-design or hourly design consultations, each process starts with my client filling out a questionnaire on my website about the project (www.ada-avenue.com/services). Once I have the information about the scope of the project, then I can provide a personalized quote based on the services required.
E-DESIGN:
My fee is a flat-rate that is customized to your project and is due up-front. Fee includes:
- Intial Consultation/Quote via e-mail (correspondence about scope of work)
- Customized Design Board
- Layout Design + Furniture Floor Plan
- Furniture + Fabric Selections
- Accessory Selections + Suggestions
- Suggestions for Repurposing Existing Furniture (if applicable)
- Suggestions for DIY Projects (if applicable)
- Product Resource Shopping List (with direct links to online sources for easy ordering)
- Design Implementation with Complete Directions of "What Goes Where"
- A Budget/Cost List
- One Revision (additional revisions are $25)
HOURLY CONSULTATIONS / FULL SCALE DESIGN:
1st Meeting: Meet with the client at their home to discuss their lifestyle, personal taste and come up with a preliminary plan.
2nd Meeting: Visit paint/furniture/home decor stores (includig online) with or without client to consider and/or purchase items that will work within the design plan (i.e. choosing paint swatches, picking fabric for furniture, choosing decorative accessories that complement the design style).
3rd Meeting: Help the client order furniture/other items and purchase any other pieces that are necessary during the styling session. I can offer a trade discount/wholesale price for many pieces depending on the vendor's program requirementes.
Final Meeting: Style the room (i.e. accesorize bookcases, tables + mantles, styling pillows, hanging pictures, etc.)
Other Billable Hours: Correspondence with client via e-mail, text, phone, travel time (when applicable), product sourcing, creating + editing a floor plan to visualize the chosen furniture and accessories. Some clients opt to add on a design board to help them visualize the process.

E-DESIGN:
Typical prices range from $250-$600 depending on the size and scope of the project. Fee includes one set of revisions. Addiontal revisions are $25.
HOURLY CONSULTATIONS / FULL SCALE DESIGN:
My hourly consultation fee is $70/hr. I bill by the hour and after 4 hours, I reduce my fee to $50/hr.
