What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
There are 8 steps for a successful interior design:
- Initial Interior Architectural Design Consultation (new constructions and remodels)
- Space Planning, Layout and Concept Design Realization
- Color/Finish, Material, Floor, Wall, Ceiling, Cabinet, Built-ins Selection
- Furniture, Home Accessories, Lighting, Artwork Acquisition
- Area Rugs, Custom Bedding, Upholstery, Wall/Window Treatment Fabrication
- Finishing Touches and professional Installation Supervision
- Bath, Bed, Table, Kitchen, Tableware, Glassware
- Housewarming Party Celebration (Private French Dinner Party)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a native of Paris, France, there I spent my early career in the hotel industry. Former 1992 France’s Youngest Hôtelier, I also earned several culinary certificates in French cooking & baking at the Ecole Ritz Escoffier Paris.
Growing up, I was drawn towards French interior design, skills that I learned from my aunt, a talented decorator. I always wanted to share the Art of French Living with people. Attracted by the American entrepreneurial spirit and deeply passionate about bringing the Art of French Living to the United States, I moved to Bellevue, WA.
In 1996, I combined my Business School diploma and my passion for French interiors to create the boutique showroom, MAISON DE FRANCE, which features authentic imported French home furnishings and offers interior design services. . Blaise is a professional member of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art - Northwest (ICAA-NW).

No, my In-home design consultation rate is $250.00 + travel expenses (if outside or King County, WA).
How did you get started in this business?

Recently, I have designed a complete lake side Medina, WA house using French organic paint, natural fabrics and custom home furnishings reflecting the style of the home owners.
