Hello, I am Melissa and I am passionate about animals...I have 3 grown sons and we have had pets all our lives. They are literally considered a member of the family.
I currently transcribe Braille for the blind & vision impaired. I do this from home, therefore I am able to be attentive and caring to the animals I am trusted with.
I take direction well, and consistently follow owner's preferences for feeding, walking and any additional needs. I am comfortable with all sizes, shapes, and personalities. I also can provide references upon request, and am willing to negotiate rates as needed.
I find animals very therapeutic and I enjoy loving on them. Quite often once I have taken care of them, when they see me again, they are jumping up and down with excitement. And I absolutely love that rewarding feeling...
My son's aren't at home anymore and they took the dog's with them. So this type of work allows me to care for other's pets as if they were my own.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically meet with a new clients during a walk or a trip to the park, in order to discuss your requirements and preferences. Plus, I can get a lil playtime with my new four legged friend(s) and go over behavioral needs, grooming, walking schedule and feeding times.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Life-long lover and owner of dogs...first hand experience for over 40 years...

Nothing standard, fees are negotiable, especially for return visits.
$35/per night (small) 1-15 lbs.
$40/per night (medium) 16-40 lbs.
$45/per night (large) 41-100 lbs.
$55/per night (x-large) 101+
