Capital Remodeling did an excellent job from start to finish with my kitchen remodeling project. They had a great variety of cabinet styles and colors available; a good selection of granite counter top colors to match my cabinets; and a number of back splash tile options. Once the cabinets arrived, the work began immediately and it took about 2 1/2 weeks for the project to be completed. All of the staff involved were very professional and did a great job of minimizing the disruption a project like this can cause. Id recommend this company for any remodeling projects.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every project starts with a free in-home consultation — but for kitchens and bathrooms, it's really more of a design experience than a traditional estimate. We come to you with cabinet and countertop samples, take detailed measurements, and walk you through your options with honest professional input. There's no pressure and no rush. We want you to feel genuinely confident about your choices before we ever draw up a price.
For windows and roofing, we assess your home, walk you through what we recommend and why, and give you a clear, transparent quote on the spot.
From there, our process is straightforward: we handle everything in-house from material sourcing to final installation, with a dedicated project manager assigned to every kitchen and bathroom project to keep things moving and keep you informed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Across all of our services, our teams are experienced, trained in-house, and held to a single consistent standard — which is only possible because we don't subcontract any of our work.
Our roofing crews are Certified Shingle Masters through CertainTeed, one of the largest and most respected roofing shingle manufacturers in the country — a credential that reflects both technical expertise and a commitment to installation quality.
Our window installations are performed by a dedicated certified team trained specifically on Greatview Windows, our own patented product. Because these are our windows and our installers, we're able to stand behind the work with a transferrable triple-lifetime warranty.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Ask whether they subcontract their work. It's one of the most important questions you can ask, and a lot of homeowners don't think to ask it until something goes wrong. When a company uses subcontractors, accountability gets murky fast — the crew on your job may have no real relationship with the company you hired. Make sure you know who is actually going to be in your home.
Ask about warranties and what they actually cover. A great-sounding warranty that's tied to a manufacturer rather than the installer can leave you in a difficult position if issues arise.
Ask how long they've been operating locally. Longevity matters in this industry. A company with deep roots in the community has a reputation worth protecting — and that tends to show in how they treat their customers.
Finally, don't make your decision based on price alone. The cheapest bid often reflects corners being cut somewhere. Focus on value: quality of materials, accountability, timeline, and whether the company gives you confidence from that very first conversation.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
What matters most to you — price, speed, or quality? Most projects involve tradeoffs between the three, and knowing your priorities going in will help you have a much more productive conversation with any contractor.
How disruptive can this project be to your daily life, and for how long? Understanding your tolerance for disruption will help you evaluate timelines realistically and ask the right questions about how a company manages active job sites.
For kitchens and bathrooms especially: do you have a general sense of the aesthetic direction you want, or do you need guidance? Either is completely fine — but knowing where you are helps the process move more smoothly.
And finally: are you planning to stay in this home long-term, or is this project at least partially motivated by resale value? The answer might influence which investments make the most sense for your situation.
