What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Planning to purchase a home? I prefer to chat via text or phone to get a feel for what you're looking for prior to meeting.

When we meet in person we look at 2-5 homes.  We chat and familiarize ourselves.  I ask a lot of questions as we move to be certain we're on the same page, and to answer questions you have.  We discuss financing options to be certain you're in a program to meet your needs.

The more you share with me the better I can assist you.

Are you Selling? Sitting down in your home is vital to getting it SOLD!

I work with the Sellers to bring out the homes best features.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a number of designations that shows I have gone above the average agent.

GRI is Graduate Institute of Real Estate. Agents who have obtained this designation are committed to learning how to best serve both the Buyers & Sellers they represent.

MCNE means I have a Master in Negotiations. In real estate everyone involved in the transaction can succeed in a Win-Win situation.

MRP - Military Relocation Partner - I come from a military family. As such I enjoy helping those who serve our country.

SFR - I am experienced in Short Sales & Foreclosed properties, and I am willing to share my knowledge and experience will you.

I have other designations as well, but these best indict I am here to provide the best real estate serve and knowledge to you.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.

In Virginia Buyers Agents sign an agreement with the consumer explains I work for you however, in most cases I am paid by the Seller at closing to represent you.

When representing the Seller my commission maybe flexible, the company fees are not.

How did you get started in this business?

My Uncle Jimmy went into real estate after serving in the Navy.  After college and service I went into Mortgage Banking at a Savings & Loan.  After having my first child I gravated to other aspects of real estate that allowed me to work from home.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with Real Estate Developers to 1st time Home Buyers to Military with 3 days to find housing for their family in the winter!

Real Estate offers a variety of situations and brings together a diverse group of people with a common interest.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?

There are lots of Real estate agents out there.  Be certain you're working with a Realtor who has past happy clients.  (Not all real estate agents are Realtors)

Consider why you're seeking a Realtors assistance and work with someone who is knowledgeable in that field of real estate so they can best serve you.

What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?

Are you seeking help in Commercial or Residential Real Estate?

How experienced is the Realtor? Do they have any designations that will help you make your choice easier?

If you're purchasing a home for the first time are you working with an agent knowledgeable about first time home buyer options?

If you're Military, does that agent understand VAOan options? The Relocation Process? Etc?

Are you buying a Short Sale or Foreclosure or HUD home? Does your Realtor understand the ins and outs of the process?

Are you buying via an auction? As your Realtor ever assisted in that process before? Do you benefit from an agent?
