About

I am passionate about the health and well being of pets while in my personal care. I have been pet sitting for 15+ years and decided to take my love for animals further and become certified Vet Assistant. I currently work at a veterinary hospital. I do have references I can share from my previous employer if requested. I offer a safe environment for pets to be tended and cared for. This includes doggy daycare, house visits( walks, litter box changed, and feeding) and boarding. I have experience in providing toe nail trims, anal gland expressions, and baths if any are needed for an additional cost. I will request a meet and greet prior to being hired. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies!!

I would like to give our recommendation and praise to Jamie!
There is no question of Jamies trustworthiest and her love of animals. She is not only an exceptional pet walker and trained Vet Technician, She knowledgeable, reliable, efficient and devoted. She is available to work around my schedule on short notice. She demonstrates enormous love and compassion for all animals. Her rates are very reasonable for the services she provides. She is not your average pet walker. She will do whatever you ask of her whether it be taking your dog for a two hour walk through the woods or taking them to the park. Animals love Jamie!

Jaime is very knowledgable and passionate about pet care. As a certified vet technician, she is more than capable of caring for all species of animals and experienced administering medication. She has watched my beloved 10 month old labrador for over 5 months and even helped me with training and housebreaking my puppy. I highly recommend Jaime for any of your pet needs. Her schedule is flexible and her rates are very reasonable.

Jamie keeps our older Miniature Pinscher, Boomer, happy. She takes him for walks that are just enough, but not too much. She keeps him hydrated and happy. She also can address full a anal glad (yes, the small dog problem) and toenails. Overall, Jamie is a joy to work with!

I went to carrington college and became a certified vet assistant. Working towards furthing my education.

I moved to Virginia from Arizona big and pregnant. It was hard to find work at a vet clinic while in this condition because you can't do all the required work. Might potential harm the baby with restraining, X-rays, dog bites, etc. I wanted to be able to work from home and around my fiancé's schedule, so I started a doggy daycare. When the pandemic came around this line of work was wonderful for me and my family. Virtual learning was not a big deal because I was already home. This has honestly been a fun journey and I'm blessed to have gotten to do it.

I work with all types of personalities and people. I'm a very social person so it's very fun to be able to meet new people since I'm originally from Arizona.

Honestly, I love that I'm able to make friendships through my pet care business. Oh, and of course getting to work with animals has always been my passion. That isn't really one event, but I like it. :-)

To be careful. These are people coming into your home and handling your pets while no one is there. It's important to get references and make sure these people are trustworthy.

Obviously, what's there experience with pets? :-)

Are you strong enough to handle multiple dogs or large dogs?

What should you do if someone wants to pet your dog?

What should you do if another owner wants their dog to say hi?

What does it mean if the dog is walking on the sidewalk and starts dancing or high stepping?

What are some items you should have on you all the time while walking a pet?

Can you use all the same commands I use with my pet?
