About
I offer in-home pet grooming for those dogs and cats that are older or who don't do well in a shop grooming setting. I offer one on one care for your pet and tailor grooms to each individual pet. I have been around animals my whole life. I practice mindful grooming techniques that take your pets circumstances, stress level, and tolerance into consideration. I work with pet owners to develop the best grooming plan and schedule for each of their pets.
I love all animals and find the best part of my job is helping animals feel better with a good groom, clipped nails, skin care, etc. Although it's never a good thing when pet coats get tangled and matted, I love helping them out of the painful and restrictive matted coat conditions and then setting up a regular maintenance program that will ensure your pet never has to experience that discomfort again.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each pet is assessed on an individual basis. I do not service large aggresive dogs, but will do small dogs with anxiety issues to the best of my ability. I offer comfort grooms, and hospice grooms for both cats and dogs. The pets come first and any services provided will be done in the safest, most stress-free manner possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I learned through an internship at a local groom shop and then enrolled in the National Cat Groomers Institute's fabulous international cat grooming program. I currently groom at a private shop in Lynchburg where I would be happy to groom your pet if house call is not right for you.
