Since 1993, I have instructed in multiple levels of obedience and agility and held various positions at DGDTC, including President and Training Director. I have been teaching many levels of obedience and AKC CGC classes at Pender Vet, since 2007. I also provide private training at client's homes in the areas close to Leesburg, Va. I specialize in Puppy training since that is what I do most often, but have experience in all levels of dog obedience.

I enjoy opening the lines of communication between clients and their dogs! Once they undestand each other, life gets easier.

As first time dog owners (and perfectionists, no less), my fiancé and I were nervous about raising our new Maltese-Bishon puppy -- who was peeing all over the house, not eating and a bundle of uncontrollable energy. Under Michelle’s guidance and support, Whistler has become a well behaved and lovable puppy, and we have become more confident parents.

Michelles classes were a mix of priority items on our mind (potty training, crate training, leash walking, playing fetch, etc) and a list of items shes curated from her years of training. A lot of items were things we hadnt thought about -- cleaning his ears, teaching him to come, teaching touch.

Her rates are also really reasonable at $90/class. We learned more in 20 minutes with her then the entire puppy class we took at a local dog store. She also followed up each class with detailed notes.
