We are a full service dog boarding facility located in Chesapeake "out in the country".We have a super clean facility, the best dog trainers, we offer the best care for your pups!
We are all animal lovers here at Blue Sky Farms. My wife an I have somewhere around 40 pets of our own. Some are rescues, some we purchased, but they include horses, 2 german shepherds, 5 cats, 2 donkeys, 2 miniature goats, a sheep, 2 ducks, aprx 15 chickens, a flying squirrel, 2 pigs....... I'm sorry, thats all I can remeber right now.... how many is that?
Anyway, its our passion. Its great to hear to hear from so many customers that their dogs actuall get excited when they turn onto our street! We must be doing something right!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first take all of their personal information down and make sure their dogs are up to date with their required shots. When a new customer wants to see the facility, they get a full tour while all their questions and concerns are being answered. We take in and label their pups personal possessions, food, any treats and toys. We review the owners feeding directions and discuss any medicaations that the dogs may require. We monitor new dogs when they first go out with other dogs (if they are allowed) to make sure there will be no issues. Thats most of the important stuff!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My wife has been a dog owner for her whole life and we've always had dogs for our 20 years of marriage. My wife has been trained by some of the best and most well known dog trainers in the country, she has taken veterinarian courses which she passed with straight A's. She is an expert nutritionist, and can work magic with most any dog issues.
