About
I do in home/private session dog grooming inside your home. This means your dog gets to stay comfortably in your home while getting a hair cut or touch up.
This is helpful for elderly dogs or dogs with specific medical issues or anxiety.
Also good for busy people who can't get to the grooming shop or people with limited mobility.
I enjoy helping the animals mostly. Some animals can't tolerate the grooming shop and do much better simply making a friend in their home.
I also enjoy making sure my client's have the services they need.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally come over for a meeting to greet the dog and speak with the client about needs. The grooming can be done that day or another day if preferred. I set up a table in an easy to clean room in your home. I use a tub or sink to wash the dog. Some large dogs can be done outside in good weather.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in this industry working with pets for 18 years now.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your services? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing is based on the specific animal and it's needs. Dogs with basic needs or easy to do will be priced less then dogs that are difficult and/or require extra help while working on them
How did you get started in this business?
My love for animals landed me in a small shop as a teenager asking for a job. I've come a long way since then.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with alot of different people and animals. I always try to do what's best for the animals but keep in mind the wants of the owners. I have dogs of all different breeds and needs that I work on.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A client of mine from a shop I used to work at contacted me to have me come groom her dog who is getting to old to handle the shop environment. I was so glad to see her and her wonderful dog Romeo.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a pro in your area of expertise?
Always make sure the pet is fond of the groomer.
Dogs are great judge of character and even if they aren't if they don't like the person they will have a bad experience and it will cause more stress on the animal.
What questions should customers think through before talking to pros about their needs?
They should always think of the needs of their dog first. If their dog is old or has health concerns then grooming may be hard for them. Sometimes beauty isn't the goal although I do always try to make the dog look the best it can look.
There are times that it's best to just get the hair off and leave the pet alone if they stress to bad for the process.
